August 5, 2020 – K3 partners with Choices of Page County

K3 Kares donated $500 to help with the needs of Choices of Page County, which is a local shelter that provides safety and support to victims of domestic violence.  As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Choices was in need of emergency items for women and children.  When families come to the shelter, they often arrive with only the clothes they are wearing.  K3 met with the Choices leadership team virtually and provided consulting support and funds to purchase items such as toiletries, clothing, and food.  During conversations with the counselors at the shelter, K3 learned that Choices wanted to digitize paper records and that many women who arrive there are unemployed and have no resume.  As Choices re-opened their office, K3 employees began volunteering one day a week scanning documents and we are available to remotely help those who need a new or updated resume.  K3’s Junior Associate, Olivia Good began volunteering weekly at the shelter to help.  K3 Kares about the communities where we live and work and we are so happy to assist such a valuable community resource.
