K3 is inviting employees to perform community service at Page One in Luray, VA. Volunteering takes place from 10am to 2pm, and activities may include helping in the thrift store or food bank stocking, organizing, loading and unloading, or generally helping wherever needed.

Page One’s mission is to provide family assistance to those in our community who find themselves unemployed, sick, or for some unforeseen situation, unable to feed their families or meet their financial needs.

September 26, 2016 – K3 awarded contract with Maryland State Department of Education

K3 Solutions LLC (K3) has been awarded a contract with Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) to provide Section 508 accessibility support. “We are thrilled to add the State of Maryland to our roster of customers and to sumsdepport their mission,” said Victor Koo, Chief Operating Officer. Under this contract, K3 will work with the Division of Curriculum, Assessment, and Accountability to ensure that online courses and other MSDE related digital resources are accessible to individuals with disabilities. This program will enhance the Maryland Virtual Learning Opportunities (MVLO) program managed by the MSDE designed to expand the access of quality online courses and digital resources to Maryland students and educators.

September 21, 2016 – K3 partner Infozen wins $208M contract with DHS USCIS.

dhsK3 is pleased to announce that its prime partner, Infozen, has been awarded a $208 million contract from the Homeland Security Department’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Office of Information Technology. InfoZen will be providing support for the migration of the USCIS application development methodology from a traditional waterfall process to an agile environment and from a silo-based development-deploy-support structure to an agile methodology and DevOps framework. K3 is a partner with Infozen on this award and will be leading the Change, Configuration, and Release Management tasks for this program.

June 1, 2016 – USCYBERCOM Contract Award

uscybercomThe General Services Administration to support the United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) has awarded this 5‑year, multimillion-dollar prime contract to Parsons to deliver services to support the defensive and offensive cyber missions of USCYBERCOM. K3 Solutions LLC will serve as a HUBZone small business subcontractor supporting Parsons. The scope includes capabilities, knowledge, and expertise in the full range of technologies, cyberspace operations, joint operations planning, and training and exercise services needed to support USCYBERCOM’s operational mission. Work will be performed primarily in the greater Washington, DC, metro area.

January 11, 2016 – K3 provides Administrative Support to NIH

K3 Solutions LLC (K3nih-logo) welcomed a new customer into its expanding business base in the new year, supplying administrative support services on the Long Term Administrative Support Contract II (LTASC II) for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of the winning contract team led by SAI.

LTASC II is an acquisition vehicle available to all Institutes, Centers, and Offices within NIH to obtain commercially provided administrative services on a long-term basis. NIH uses this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to procure administrative services for a period of at least 12 months on a task order basis. LTASC II, with a contract ceiling of $250M, will support locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area; Baltimore, MD; Arizona; Massachusetts; Michigan; Montana; North Carolina; and Ohio.

November 2, 2015 – K3 launches new website with mobile access

K3 Solutions LLC (K3), a leading provider of Information Technology (IT) consulting services, announced the launch of its new company website. The company built the new website on an upgraded WordPress platform, designed by Danny Ferretti. The platform provides a responsive design that is accessible to all different size screens and adapts easily to mobile devices.

Team members reviewed documented processes and interviewed levels of systems practitioners, software developers, program managers, and company management.
